2. In 1924, the price of a Ford Model

Twas only $260. Today the price
of the least expensive automobile
in America is many times that sum.
There were more automobile firms in
business in 1924 than there are today.
Does the higher price of cars result
chiefly from the reduction of firms
and the resulting loss of competition?
