How is multiplying exponents (x^2*x^4) different from raising a power to a power((x^2)^4)? Ty =)

Answer:

When your multiplying exponents in the same parenthasis like x^2*x^4, you'll add the exponents so it will be x^6. If it is outside the parenthasis like (x^2)^4 you'll multiply the exponents so it will be x^8. good luck! :)
