Create a two-column chart in which you list Democrat Andrew Jackson's main ideas about government in one column and the ideas of the National Republican Party in the other column. Then research on the Internet the basic ideas of the Democratic and Republican parties today. Make a third column on your chart and check D or R to indicate which of Jackson's ideas would be more like the Democrats or Republicans of today. (my teacher said to just explain it you don't need a chart just a way to explain)
