Well, remember u always want to get the variable on one side alone. So, the variable is on the left side, so we want to put all the numbers on the right side. First, we divide each side by 4 (always do it to both side), then we subtract seven from both sides to get that seven away from the variable, next, like the 4, we divide both sides by -2 to get the variable alone.
