Why do you think women and minorities had to fight so hard and for so long to gain the right to vote? Are there any current groups of people who are still having their vote silenced? Explain your answers.

women have never been given the respect and recognition they deserve and it sad. During world war women took all the jobs that where reserved for men at the time and even when they showed that they are capable of working the men came back they did not give them the same chances they fought for.
