A) area = length x width = 12 x 6 = 72 sq.cm

B) area = 1/2x base x height = 1/2 x 3 x 6 = 9 sq.cm

C) same as B= 9 sq. Cm

D) subtract area of both triangles from area of rectangle:

72 - 9 -9 = 54 sq. Cm
