Own owns a guitar store with 150 guitars in stock. He has 90 electric guitars and the rest are acoustic. What is the ratio of acoustic to electric guitars.

The answer is 6:9 because if you subtract 150 by 90 then you get 60 and when you are dealing with ratios you always reduce the numbers as small as they can while keeping the ratio the same and it's 6:9 because it says acoustic to electric not electric to acoustic so it's NOT 9:6 you can't switch them around.
