Total number of diamond cards in the pile = 8

Probability of picking up a diamond in a draw of card from the pile is given by .

There are supposed to be 300 trials.

Therefore number of times a diamond card is picked from the pile is given by 300 × = 100.

Out of 300 trials to pick a card, about 100 times we can expect to have picked up a diamond card from the pile.
