It was an extensive 28-day campaign based on civil resistance that protested about the corruption of the country, poor living conditions, unemployment, poverty, and political restraint. The countries involved in this event were mainly Tunisia, Egypt and Libya to instigate the president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali to resign their presidency and move off to Saudi Arabia. Through all this mess, it caused plenty of harm to other people and lead to a total of 338 deaths at the end.
