In this story, how are the farm and Oz different?

At the farm, Dorothy is lonely, but in Oz, she has many friends.
The farm is in a faraway place, but Oz is in Kansas.
At the farm, Dorothy is loved, but in Oz, she is in danger.
The farm is a poor, practical place, but Oz has an Emerald City.
*this is for my cousin in 5th grade* HELPP!

It might be that in the Oz there is someone who wants to hurt her but at the farm there is someone who she can count on.
