How does bronchitis affect the respiratory system? Write response in paragraph form.

Answer: Bronchitis is the respiratory disorder in which the lining of bronchiole get swells and inflamed.

Due to the inflammation, bronchial tubes start producing excess mucus which block the airways between trachea and lungs. This cause wet cough. It may be mild or chronic. In severe conditions, respiratory system get highly damages resulting in wheezing, cough, chest pain and shortness of breath.
