y = - 1/2x + 5

Explanation:

y = 2x – 6 slope = 2

Perpendicular line slope = -1/2

for (4 , 3) y = mx + b y = 3, x = 4, m = -1/2

b = y - mx = 3 - (-1/2) x 4 = 5

equation: y = - 1/2x + 5
