Solving equations with rational numbers

1: 3/8p = 6/8 — What is the p?
2: 19/21 t - 38/7 — What is the t?
3: Freda paid $126 for groceries for her family. This was 1 1/6 as much as she paid the previous time she shopped. How much did Freda pay on her previous shopping trip?

Those are all Rational Number question from the textbook (7th Grade) It would be awesome if you can help me!

P= 2

T=6

3) 252$

Explanation:

1) set up your equation 3/8p=6/8 then divide 3/8 from both sides (remember when you divide fractions you would multiply by the reciprocal so 3/8 x 8/6. Also make sure you simplify)

2) Do the same here. 38/7 divided by 19/21

3) Turn the fraction into an improper fraction then multiply 126 by that amount (3/6)
