How is Fibonacci seen in nature

The Fibonacci sequence can be seen in the formation and split of tree branches. A primary trunk will continue to expand until it produces a branch, which will result in the formation of two growth points. One of the new stems then splits into two, leaving the other inert. Each of the new stems follows the same branching pattern.
