Answer: Republican values shifted the economy to create a larger middle class and spread out the wealth more, even though there were still various private businesses/wealthy individuals. In the family, women had more standing in both society and the workforce. The traditional view that they stay home and do chores was shifting to them getting jobs and being educated. Political values shifted from a monarchy/theocracy to a Republican/democratic government. This also came with the shift of religious views, where people started to emphasize humanity and free will rather than God’s absolute/divine will.
