Explanation:

to find the slope you use the equation y2-y1/x2-x1. It doesn’t matter which y you choose for y2 as long as you choose the x from that same pair for x2.

I chose -2 for y2 so after plugging in the numbers my equation looked like -2-3/-5+3. This equals -5/-2 which simplifies to 5/2

first label which ones you want to be which we can say that we will let (-3,3) be x1, y1 and the (-5,-2) be x2,y2

now just sub it in to the equation

=(-2 - 3)/(-5 - (-3))

= -4/-2

=4/2

=2
