Explanation:
2x + 3x + 4x = £ 77.40
9x = £ 77.40
x = £77.40/9
Therefore x = £8.6
Now
2x = 2*£8.6 = £17.2
3x = 3 * £ 8.6 =£ 25.8
4x = 4 * £ 8.6 = £34.4
