Ryan says that a rectangle is a square because it has 4 right angles. Addy says that a rhombus is a square because it has 4 equal sides. Who is correct?

Explanation:

A rhombus CANNOT be a square, and also squares are rectangles but rectangles can only sometimes be squares because rectangles have to have equal sides in order to be a square so nether of them are right. hope this helps!

Addy is correct as just because a polygon has 4 right angles it doesn’t constitute as a square. For a polygon to be a square it must have 4 equal sides. That is also why Addy is correct as a rhombus has 4 equal sides.But a rectangle has 2 equal pairs
