What is the surface area of a cylinder use 3.14 instead of pi button on your calculator the radius two the height is eight.

Please help and if any of you do ixl please let me know I need help with Lot of them !!

Explanation:

the formula for the area of a cylinder is A=2πRH+2πRsquared. I find it easiest to multiply pi by 2 instead of anything else which is 6.28. Then I multiply the radius (2) times the height (8) equaling 16. Then you multiply that number by 6.28. Equaling 100.48. Then you have to do the second part which is radius (2) squared equaling 4. Then you multiply that by 6.28, equaling 25.12. then you add the two sums (25.12+100.48=125.60).
