How did Europe react to Germany attacking the Soviet Union

If you are talking about WWII and when Joseph Stalin was the Soviet Leader then he had placed his trust in Adolf Hitler which led to the defeat of the Soviet Union. Stalin’s response to Hitlers invasion was slow and disorganized in the first few days of the war. Stalins response was ineffective because he trusted Hitler. Later however, Stalin took charge and slowed the German military and stopped it before it arched Moscow in December of 1941.
