Do you believe that dogs have evolved from wolves?

I think every organism was made perfectly with it's specific roles by the one above but scientists say that dogs did evolve from wolves because of convenience. I don't think that's true because it doesn't explain how some dogs "evolved" to be so little if all wolves and wild dogs (hyenas, dingos, wild dogs) are all so big and tough. It just depends what you believe
