Heart disease affects the respiratory system by causing irregularities in the way fluid is carried away from the lungs. Meaning that your heart and lungs won't be the same. Cellular respiration break up sugar to give energy they can use. Cellular respiration takes in food and uses it to create ATP it is a chemical which the cell uses for energy.
