WORK-
This is a simple trigonometric equation. We have the distance from the shadow and the angle measure. All you need to do is find the height. Using the acronym SOH CAH TOA
we can see we need to use the tangent
tan 16.3°= x/24
You find the tangent of 16.3° and then multiply by 24 and you find the height of the umbrella is around 7 feet.
