some substances are made of only one kind of atom. other substances are made of more than one kind of atom. how are the properties of these two types of substances different?

Eh- okay, So it must be a certain substance to have only that specific kind of atoms, The other substance may have an relation to a different type of atom so it will have that..

.. sorry if this doesn’t make any sense I’m trying to figure it out myself, but I hope it helps.
