solution
2[l+w] is the formula of getting perimeter of a rectangle
let width be=x
length=x+3 since its longer than width
2[x+3+x]=54 cm
2[x+x+3]=54 cm
2[2x+3]=54 cm
4x+6=54 cm
4x=54_6
4x=48 divide both side by 4
x=12 cm
where x is width =12 cm
length is x+3 where
12+3= 15cm
