n=6

Explanation:

6n = 30 + 3(n – 4)

Distribute

6n =30 +3n -12

Combine like terms

6n = 18 +3n

Subtract 3n from each side

6n-3n = 18+3n-3n

3n = 18

Divide each side by 3

3n/3 =18/3

n =6
