Lets a be lenght and b width. From text we have:

a=b+4

a*b=32

Put the first equation in the 2n, we get:

(b+4)b=32

b^2+4b-32=0

b^2+8b-4b-32=0

b(b+8)-4(b+8)=0

(b+8)(b-4)=0

So it must be b=-8 or b=4. We know that width cannot be negative, so it is 4.
