Answer: A) Goes back into the soil

Explanation: Nitrogen is the part of amino acids, nucleic acids, chlorophyll and other pigments of the plant. When the plant dies the plant body gets decomposed by the soil microbes like fungi and bacteria. These microbes turn the nitrogen into ammonia in the soil which is again utilized by the living plants for their growth.
