So since congruent sides make congruent angles we can say that there will be two identical angles

Lets take the unknown angle as "x"

Since there are two unknown angles x becomes 2x

So

40+2x=180

Subtract 40 from both sides

2x=140

Divide by 2 on both sides

X=70
