Right angle Triangle
Explanation:
In this problem Jacob wants to identify the missing side in a triangle.
For this Jacob used a strategy named as Pythagorean Theorem.
To find the missing angle in a right angled triangle on can use Pythagorean Theorem to identify it.
By using the identity,
(ADJACENT SIDE)² + (OPPOSITE SIDE)² = (HYPOTENUSE SIDE)²
The above identity can be used to identify the missing side in a right angled triangle alone.
