If you do not have equal coefficients for both variables, can you

still use the elimination method?​

Answer:

Yes

Explanation:

Multiply one eqution so that they are same.

For example:

2x+17y+48=0

x+8y-6=0 --> multiply 2 times, so 2x+16y-12=0

and now you can use it as if they are coefficients for both variables
