Why is it important that stds are diagnosed as soon as possible?

Someone might not know that they have an std so they would be more likely to spread it around without knowing. If it is diagnosed sooner it can help to prevent this.

Because they can be really really bad for you and sometimes if they get too bad you could die. Or sometimes spread it to someone else.
