Answer: 30 moles of H2O

Step-by-step explanation:

First we write the balanced equation for the combustion reaction of 1 mol of Pentane.

C5H12 + 8O2 ------> 5CO2 + 6H2O

From the balanced equation of the reaction;

1 mole of Pentane (C5H12) produces 6moles of water.

∴ 5 moles of Pentane would have an equation like this when you multipy all the coefficients by 5

5 C5H12 + 40 O2 -------> 25 CO2 + 30 H2O, which means; 5 moles of pentane would produce 30 moles of water.
