What caused the Armenian genocide? Were they acceptable actions?

The Armenian genocide was an attempt to kill all of the Christians and ethnically pure Armenians during 1915. It was not an acceptable action because the result was the death and senseless killings of over a million ethnic Armenians, which was caused by the Turks in the Ottoman Empire.
