Answer:

x=-10

Explanation:

first put "x" on one side and the constants on the other

the equation becomes 2x=-20 or -2x=20

both cases divide by 2 and the answer becomes x=-10

or if you end up with -x=10 just multiply by -1 and it ends up the same
