every square yard of the park there is one square inch on the map

Explanation:

First we will calculate the real area and the map area

p = city park area

p = ( 40yd * 25yd ) / 2

p = 1000yd² / 2

p = 500yd²

m = map area

m = ( 40th * 25th ) / 2

m = 1000th² / 2

m = 500th²

if we compare the 500yd² of the park with the 500th² we realize that there is a relationship that for every square yard of the park there is one square inch on the map
