Developmental Pathways Refers to the sequence and timing of particular behaviors, as well as the possible relationships between behaviors over time and there two example of developmental pathway are multi-finality and equifinality.

Multifinality – similar early experiences lead to different outcomes( difference in a given state may be the result of shared past experience)

Equifinality – different early experiences lead to a similar outcome( different early experiences in life can lead to similar outcomes)
