X + (x + 1) is the expression best represents the sum of two consecutive integers .

Explanation:

Suppose we have two integer, and more precisely two consecutive integers . example:- 4 and 5. Let's us assume that we have a integer x . Since two consecutive integers are such that larger number is one more then the smaller number i.e. smaller number = x So , Larger number = x + 1.

Let's calculate sum of two consecutive integers as :

sum = smaller number + larger number

sum =
(x ) + ( x+1)

sum = 2x+1

Therefore, X + (x + 1) is the expression best represents the sum of two consecutive integers .
