10 ÷ 25 is 0.4

Because, 25 cannot go into 10,so you add a zero and add a decimal point (0.4). But,if you are actually saying 25÷10 ,now that is a different answer

Because, 10 is smaller ,so it can go into 25. 10×2 =20

You get a remainder of 5 ,so you add a decimal point beside the two and add a zero by the remainder 5. Which gives you 50

Now 10 ×5 gives you 50 so, your answer should be 2.5 . To check if it's correct you multiplay 2.5 by 10 and you will still end up with 25.

Hope you understand what I'm am saying.

Answer:

0.4!

Explanation:

You have to put the 10 outside the house and 25 inside the house, and then divide from there.
