An object is dropped from a hot-air ballon 1296 feet above the ground. The height of the object is given by: h = -16(t-9)(t+9) where the height “h” is measured in feet, and the time “t” is measured in seconds. After how many seconds will the object hit the ground?

Answer:

Explanation:

So hitting the ground i think you just set the equation equal to 0

-16(t-9)(t+9)=0

t=0,9,-9 so it will take 9 second since the negative wont be the right choice.

I hope this helps?
