The American Dream is a popular North American idea that is rooted in the United States Declaration of Independence, which proclaims that “all men are created equal with the right to “life, freedom, property and the pursuit of happiness.

James Adams says that life should be better and richer and more complete for everyone, with opportunities for everyone based on their skills or achievements, regardless of their social class or circumstances of birth.

At that time, the states had everyone's dream, and there was a huge wave of immigration from Europe mainly. But when the immigrants arrived they found a harsh reality, as many were rejected and did not get what they wanted, such as good jobs and money.
