Explanation: to a planter or breeder, the physical characteristics or otherwise called phenotypic trait is as a result or the genotype and environmental interaction. A planter believe that the physical expression of a plant that is due to genotype and environmental interaction can be inherited by the offspring of that crop and the same characteristics he is seeing physically will be inherited by the plants offspring if be the trait of interest.
