How do you graph y=1/5x+3

Explanation:

the formula is y=mx+ b right? And so the slope is m and the y intercept is 3. So plot 3 on the y intercept ( should be on the vertical line on the third unit) you should have plotted it on (0,3) and then the next step is the slope. so the slope is rise over run ( rise/run) and so from our y intercept (3) we go up one unit to (0,4) and over to the right 5 units. Then when you stop at 5 units plot that point: at this point you should have (5,4) since (x,y) is the formula for your coordinates. And now with these points all you have to do is graph your line

I hope this helps!
