Geology is the study of the Earth, how it works and its history. Geology involves studying the materials that make up the earth, the features and structures found on Earth as well as the processes that act upon them. It also deals with the study of the history of all life that's ever lived or is living on earth now. There are two main types: physical geology and historical geology.
Geology is the study of the earth: the science that deals with the earth's physical structure, history, and basically everything about the Earth.
Basically the study of rocks on the Earth's Crust.
