Two brand new species of mammal like animals are found. Their relationship is unclear, however species 1 (found in India) has a claw in front that secretes a venom. Species 2, (found in Russia) also has a venomous structure, a venomous back claw. Since both species are apparently mammalian, and since both have independently figured out a way to produce claw-borne venom, it is safe to conclude that they are closely related species.a. True.b. Answer: The conclusion is false

Step-by-step explanation:

Species refers to organisms that have the largest number of features in common. However, ONLY one feature (claw-borne venom) has been proven to be common to

both mammalian-like animals.

Hence, it is not safe to conclude that both animals are closely related species. Thus, the statement is false
