In Europe, influence and significance were more evident in a sense of traded goods that influenced culture. For example, quite a few of the spices were introduced and became common in Europe because of Mongolians, such as ginger, pepper, cinnamon, and nutmeg. This affected the everyday feeding culture of the people.

Mongolians also invented many things that are today commonplace, such as different forms of weapons and artillery, special ways of preparing the food, postal services, codified laws, and silk sheets.

They are responsible for many scientific advances, declaration of the rights of the citizens and industrial advances that later started the revolution.
