Would the point (2,-5) lie on the line 2y=3x-1?

im not entirely sure but i dont think so because if you substitute the values of (2,-5) into the equation (as you can see below) both values dont equal. This could be wrong, sorry if it is

Explanation:

2×-5=3×2-1

-10=6-1

-10=5
