Can bacteria be viewed with a light microscope?

Yes. Observing bacteria under the light microscope. ... Generally speaking, it is theoretically and practically possible to see living and unstained bacteria with compound light microscopes, including those microscopes which are used for educational purposes in schools. There are several issues to consider, however.

Yes it can but there are some issues to using a light microscope such as they are transparent so it’s best to use a prepared slide which has been stained.
