1. 46-18=28

2. 28 (2)= 56

3. 56-46=10

(4. 18+10=28)

5. So, after 10 years, the older ring will be 56 years old and the younger ring will be 28 years old. 56 is twice as much as 28. (28+28=56, 28(2)=56 or 56/2=28)
