The foundation of Structuralism were created by Wundt Wilhelm and expanded on by his student Edward Bradford Titchener. Early scientists therefore where called structuralists.

However in contemporary psychology today, the term used to describe psychologist with similar interest to structuralism is Cognitive psychology as the both deal with the mind and consciousness.
